Mia Margherita’s coal-fired oven celebrates pizza in its original intention. Our pizza dough is made in house. Every pizza is hand stretched and tossed by our pizzaiolos in front of our guests. The intensity of the coal-fired heat allows us to produce a very light, beautifully crispy, Neapolitan-style pizza. Moisture is retained at the center of the pie, so it's slightly chewy, too, giving customers the best of both worlds.

Mia Margherita also serves a variety of classic Italian dishes. We use high quality and fresh ingredients throughout our kitchen including making our own Bolognese and marinara sauces. The restaurant seats 125 people and offers a main dining room, full bar, private dining room, covered outdoor patio and a retail market. We are consistently rated the #1 restaurant in Bridgeport on Yelp and Trip Advisor.

The ideal candidate for this position would want to provide consistent quality service throughout the customer's dining experience. Which means all guests experience prompt, courteous and accurate service that is delivered with a smile. The Server should be available to their guests at all times. Food and beverage should be replenished at all times. Also, servers should be able to anticipate the needs of their guests to ensure the highest experience possible.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The server will setup and prepare tables for service.
• The server will serve and clear tables as well as reset tables.
• Servers are also responsible for cleaning and organizing their assigned areas and work stations.
• They must comply with all sanitation standards.
• They must serve food and beverages in proper manner to the guests according to standards of service.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and guests to ensure all guest needs are fulfilled.
• Maintain uniform and grooming guidelines according to the employee handbook.
